I will soon be going overseas to take part in a MEDLIFE Service Learning Trip. As a volunteer, I will work closely with medical professionals and community leaders to help deliver medical services, educational workshops and development projects to families in need. I am currently an undergraduate student studying biology in hopes of becoming a doctor one day. I think that this trip will teach me much more than any lecture could ever, in the hands of demographic of speaking. Money is the only issue holding me back from attending this trip unfortunately.
