I will soon be going overseas to take part in a MEDLIFE Service Learning Trip. We are traveling to Tena, Ecuador. I have gone on a similar type of trip when I went to Guatemala through Living Word Church! That experience is what inspired me to go into nursing, and now that I am a nursing student, I can practice my skills first-hand. As a volunteer, I will work closely with medical professionals and community leaders to help deliver medical services, educational workshops and development projects to families in need.
