Family and friends,
Currently, I am a pre-med freshman student at the University of Miami. In the spring of 2020, I will be traveling to Lima, Peru to take part in a MEDLIFE Service Learning Trip. MEDLIFE partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to quality healthcare, education, and a safe housing.
This trip will be greatly beneficial to myself and the families in Peru. Not only will I be able to help deliver medical services, educational workshops, and development projects to families in need, but these families will help me as well, by giving me a once in a lifetime learning experience to broaden my medical skills.
